On April 12,2016,Jiangsu province people's government hosted the leading group meeting about fully running the government in accordance with the law.During the conference,governor Shi Taifeng issued the letters of appointment to 24 provincial government legal advisers, including our professor Zhou Youyong.

Setting up the government legal consultant system is an important and creative measure for the provincial government to promoting Jiangsu’s legal construction in the new period.Provincial government legal advisory committee is not only a professional advisory institute to provide legal services for the provincial government,but also a think tank to deal with legal affairs for the provincial government,which plays an important role in further promoting the administration lawfully,comprehensively managing the province by law and constructing the rule of law in Jiangsu.The employment of the legal advisory team,the major members are college theoretical experts and lawyers in the practice sector.The scientific team structure can substantially improve the breadth and depth of the legal counsel to participate in the vital legal issues of the government and provide high quality decision-making,advisory services for the provincial government from the theoretic and practical side,which promote the provincial government to more effectively solve the major legal issues of government crucial decisions, local legislation and administrative management.
