On 3rd June of 2016, the Law School of Southeast University sponsored Engineering discipline construction and Personnel training seminar in the Sipailou campus of Southeast University. The theme of this meeting is engineering discipline construction and personnel training; the meeting purpose aims to summarize my school’s development experience and harvest on engineering school discipline construction and talent training for eight years, evaluate the existing opportunities and challenges, and promote further development of engineering law cross discipline.

The conference had the five units——opening speech, the appointment ceremony, the theme report, the free discussion and conference summary.

Liu Yanhong, the dean of the law school of Southeast University, Liu Jing ,the Secretary of the civil engineering school of Southeast University, respectively expressed heartfelt thanks to outside representatives on behalf of the law school and  civil engineering. They stressed that each side should deepen both talent cultivation, further integration of teacher interaction, teaching reform, scientific research project platform, discipline construction on the basis of the original cooperation.

In the process of the theme report, professor Ye Shuli from the law school of Southeast University, Guo Xiucheng, the deputy director of the Research Center for the rule of law and development of Southeast University and professor Li Qiming from the civil engineering school of Southeast University respectively delivered the speeches.

At the end of the conference, professor Zhou Youyong, the director of Social Sciences of Southeast University, the dean of Engineering Research Center of Southeast University, and the Yangtze River scholar, wonderfully made a conclusion that we should promote the sound development of our engineering discipline with a deep value; there are achievements and problems in the creative process of engineering disciplinary construction and talent training, but the future will be broad and bright.
