On August 23-24,2016,the eleventh session of the Chinese jurist forom was held by Chinese Law Association in Beijing, which had the theme of  “the codification of civil law: theory, system and practice ”. Wang Lequan, President of the China law society and Party Secretary of the China law society, and Chen Jiping,  vice executive president  attended the forum and delivered the important speech on the theme of the forum.

Associate professor Ren Danli and associate professor Shan Pingji as the award-winning representatives participated in the forum. Associate professor Shan Pingji made the report with the theme of the award-winning achievements at the eleventh session of China jurists forum,which received the strong response and lots of good evaluation. Associate professor Ren Danli participated in the whole forum and made active exchanges, which was conducive to the expansion of influence of the subject of civil law from our law school.

It is reported that China jurist forum is the highest academic forum sponsored by China law society. The forum always focus on and pays close attention to China's major theoretical and practical issues of the rule of law, and become an important platform to lead the direction of legal research, to launch a major innovation and to play a key role in the process of the rule of law Chinese construction, which have more and more influence in the field of law, the legal profession.
