On October 28, 2016, Professor Zhang Weiping from the law school of Tsinghua University, China's famous jurist and the president of Chinese Civil Procedure Law Research Association, came to our law school to make the lecture titled The Rule of Law and the Revaluation of the Procedure Value in the Jiulonghu campus of Southeast University. This lecture is the fourth lecture of ‘The 20th Anniversary of the Restoration of SEU Law Department and the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Institute’. The lectures were chaired by Prof. Liu Yanhong, Dean of the School of Law. Teachers and undergraduates, masters and doctoral students attended this meeting. The lectures were packed and the atmosphere was warm.

Professor Zhang firstly pointed out the importance of the revaluation of the program from the overall. In the specific analysis, Professor Zhang started from the process of the activation and interpretation of the law and thought the process from the legal system to rule of law in fact is to awaken the law, so that the law has the vitality of the process.

 In the next part of the question, teachers and students enthusiastically asked questions, Professor Zhang gave the humorous and detailed answers to questions.

Finally, Professor Liu Yanhong gave the wonderful summary and comments. The seminar ended successfully.
