The founding assembly of Law School Alumni Association was held  in  east lecture hall on the second floor of Auditorium in Sipailou campus of SEU in the afternoon of October 29th. Zhu Jianshe, who is the vice president of Alumni Association of SEU,  Vice-Chancellor Zhou Youyong, teachers from law school and hundreds of alumnus have attended the assembly. 

On the assembly, vice president Zhu Jianshe has expressed congratulations for the establishment of Law School Alumni Association. The constitution of the Alumni Association and the membership of the Council were reviewed and approved at the meeting. Professor Meng Hong served as the first president of it.

Vice-Chancellor Zhou Youyong made a report about the latest development of SEU to alumni representatives, and expressed strong supporting to  the alumni. Alumni representatives also showed deep feeling with SEU, and signed a donation agreement and established scholarships to support the personnel training of SEU.

In the end of the assembly, the law school issued memorial rings which were carved with names and student numbers to alumnus, which encouraged alumnus  to  adhere to efforts and  keep improving.
