The 2016 Annual Meeting of Jiangsu Criminal Law Society, which was hosted by Jiangsu Criminal Law Society and undertook by Jiangsu Public Security Department was held in Nanjing on November 26th. The meeting focused on “Practice and Development of Criminal Rule of Law”, and was divided into three units, which respectively were “the judicial interpretation of bribery and corruption crimes”, “peccavi lenient system” and “new type of fraud crimes” . Professor Yin Ji, associate Professor Li Chuan, associate Professor Qian Xiaoping, Teacher Liang Yunbao and Wang Mengyao attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Professor Yin Ji hosted the discussion of “peccavi lenient system” unit. Associate Professor Li Chuan and associate Professor Qian Xiaoping respectively made comments in “peccavi lenient system” unit and “the judicial interpretation of bribery and corruption crimes” unit. Teacher Liang Yunbao made a speech named “regression and breakthrough: comments on the amounts and plots of bribery and corruption crimes”. Criminal Law in Southeast University is new born but developing rapidly in Jiangsu Province even in China.
