On December 20th, 2016 annual meeting of social law in Jiangsu province was held in the Sipailou campus of Southeast University, organized by the institute of social law in Jiangsu Provincial, hosted by the law school of Southeast University. Scholars from Nanjing University, Southeast University, Nanjing Normal University,China University of Mining, jurists from the Provincial People's Office, Provincial High Court, City Court and a number of practitioners from law firms attended the meeting.

   Meng Hong, the secretary of the law school in Southeast University, made the opening speech on behalf of the organizers. President Fu of the Jiangsu Provincial Law Institute, and professor Li Yougen, the president of Social Law Research Association in Jiangsu Province made important speeches, which pointed out that social law academia should pay attention to the theoretical level of labor law, explore theoretical roots and establish a sound theoretical system in order to protect the rights and interests of laborers to make greater efforts.

   Professor Meng Wojie from Jiangsu Police Academy, Professor Qin Guorong from Nanjing Audit University, Professor Zhang Hongtao from Southeast University, and Zhou Changzheng and Huang Xiumei, Associate Professors of the law school in Nanjing University, also made great speeches and achieved a great success.
