A symposium on "Innovation and Development: Institutional Reform of the Commission" was held in Southeast University

    On April 15th, the symposium on Innovation and Development: System Reform of the Commission was held at the Southeast University. The seminar was organized by Research Center for Anti-Corruption Law in Southeast University, undertook by the law school of  Southeast University. The reform of the Commission's system is a major strategic decision on the Chinese comprehensive innovation of corruption governance system and mechanism. It is a major political reform.

    The opening ceremony of the seminar was chaired by Liu Yanhong, the dean of the law school of Southeast University and one Distinguished Professor of Changjiang Scholars. The seminar was divided into three parts---the construction principle of the system of monitoring power with Chinese characteristics, the power allocation and operation mode of the Commission and the prosecution power allocation  in the context of system reform.

    In the first unit, professor Zhou Youyong delivered a speech on the theme of how to position the right of supervision, allocate power and confirm the power boundary in the context of institutional reform of commission.     

    In the second unit, professor Wu Qian, from the perspective of the history of the legal system,e believes that we can find good solutions from the legal wisdom of Chinese ancients to deal with many problems of the supervision of many problems and we should do a comprehensive research for the ancient experience. 

    The third unit was chaired by the professor Gong Xianghe of the law school in Southeast University. Professor Yin Ji said that scholars need a broad view to research the power allocation and operation mode of the Commission. The theoretical researchers must have a global overall vision so that it will have a relatively scientific results.

    In order to comprehensively deepen the study of the anti-corruption theory of the rule of law and to better exchange experiences, the research center held the seminar and finally achieved the desired effect.
