Amendment draft expert forum on ‘Jiangsu Province Taihu Lake Water Pollution Prevention Regulations’ organized by Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress Legislative Affairs Commission was held in Nanjing. Over 10 experts and scholars from Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress Legislative Affairs Commission, Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress Environmental Resources Urban and Rural Construction Committee, Environmental Resources Office, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Environmental Protection, Nanjing University, Southeast University, Hohai University and Nanjing University of Technology were invited.

Professor Meng Hongzhi and Associate Professor Shan Pingji were invited to attend this forum. Professor Meng Hongzhi gave advice on how to handle the conflicts of legal priorities of this draft and existing regulations, Legislation Law. And Professor Meng Hongzhi provided other legal suggestions. Associate Professor Shan Pingji also gave specific advice on how to improve the amendment draft.
