Party Committee Secretary of Southeast University Law School, Professor Meng Hong led Associate Professor Shan Pingji, Associate Professor Yi Bo and Lecture Liu Qichuan in project team of Investigation of the Rule of Law in Economically Developed Towns of Jiangsu Province to Maba town in Xuyi county, Huai’an city to start the investigation.

Director of the National Security Office of Xuyi county Yu Weidong, Mayor of Maba town Zhangxia, Deputy Party Secretary of the Party Committee Li Changchun and Director of the Police Station Li Ruiyue attended the meeting.

Professor Meng Hong introduced basic information of the project and emphasized the great significance, expecting to acquire the legal situation of social governance and the needs in legal directions to promote the in-depth development of the rule of law in Jiangsu Province.

The project team built a bridge for further research and established a good cooperative relationship with Maba town, with awareness of basic information of governance, especially the legal situation in Maba town.
