On the 15th of April in 2018, Development of Constitution and the Reform of the Party and National Institutions in the New Era Seminar was held in Shandong Province successfully. This seminar was co-organized by Shandong Provincial Law Society Constitutional Research Society and Guangdong Provincial Law Society Constitutional Research Society, inviting more than 70 experts and scholars from South China University of Technology, Central University for Nationalities, Sichuan University, Shenzhen University, Yunnan University, Shandong University, Shandong University of Political Science and Law, Liaocheng University, Shandong University of Science and Technology, Qingdao University, Yantai University, Southeast University, Law Forum Magazine and Shandong Provincial People's Congress. Professor Meng Hongzhi was invited to this seminar.
Issues on the development of Constitution and constitutional theory, reform of Party and national institutions and relationship between party and government were discussed during the seminar and several important consensuses were reached. President of Jiangsu Provincial Law Society Legislative Research Association, Professor Meng Hongzhi hosted the closing ceremony.
