On May 18, 2018, Professor Sang Benqian, a famous jurist of China, professor of law school in ocean university of China, gave a wonderful lecture at the law school of Southeast university. The theme of the lecture is" the thinking mode of civil jurisprudence from two legislative defects". Professor Hu Chaoyang, the teacher of law school in Southeast university, presided over the lecture.

At the beginning of the lecture, Professor Sang put forward the thinking on the relationship between fairness and efficiency through several easy-to-understand cases. He argues that fairness and efficiency are not completely separate. In pursuing fairness, we cannot ignore costs. Fairness and justice are valuable. Then, according to the related problems in judicial practice, he pointed out that there are two mistakes in China's legislation: one is the choice of fairness and efficiency, and the other is lack of understanding of market logic. However, the cause of the error is the deviation of the overall thinking mode in the study of civil and commercial law, which leads to the study of civil and commercial law.

At the end of the lecture, Professor Hu mentioned that there is no dividing line between jurisprudence and department law, but there are interdisciplinary barriers in real life. Today, Professor Sang, from the perspective of law and economics, discusses fairness and justice is valuable, which has inspired us to break this barrier.
