On June 23, 2018, the second public law salon was held in Zhejiang university. This salon was hosted by Zhejiang university. Many doctors of public law and young teachers attended the salon. Six doctors from Southeast university, including Chen Hui and Zhu Jun, attended the salon.

The salon has four themes: Constitutional review of the special administrative region basic law, How to conduct constitutional review in China,  Study on government regulation of sharing motorcycles and The practical difficulties and solutions of the institutional legal person system. Feng Wenjie, a doctoral student from law school in Southeast university, pointed out that the study of constitutional law is not easy at present. The article is a compromise on the reality based on China's national conditions, and the construction of constitutional review is a gradual process.

The theme of the salon has always been related to the issue of the rule of law. This salon mainly discusses the major theoretical and practical problems in the construction of the rule of law in the new era.
