On September 26, 2018, the 13th China Jurist Forum was held in Beijing. This forum is based on the theme of "Comprehensive management of the new concept, new ideas and new strategies in accordance with the law, promoting legal researchand the construction of the rule of law in China". The heads of relevant central units and famous jurists are invited to deliver speeches. Wang Lequan, president of the Chinese Law Society, and Chen Yixin, secretary general of the Central Political and Legal Committee, attended the forum and delivered speeches.

Professor Yu Lishen from law school in Southeast University was invited as the first prize winner of the forum essay. On the rostrum, Comrade Chen Yuping, the party secretary and executive vice president of the China Law Society, presented a certificate of honor to Yu Lishen. Associate Professor Liu Qichuan and Dr. Yu Tao were awarded the second prize and excellent award of the forum essay.
