On September 27, 2018, the “Provincial Procuratorate 2018 Case Quality Supervision Training Course” sponsored by Jiangsu Provincial People's Procuratorate Case Supervision and Management Office was officially opened at the Jiangsu Provincial Procuratorate College. 127 post prosecutors from the provincial third-level case supervision departments, participated in this training. Associate Professor Wang Lusheng was invited to teach the course.
In the course of teaching, Associate Professor Wang Lusheng first took the innovation of supervision thinking in the era of big data as the entry point. And then, he explained the unique characteristics of the supervision and management of procuratorial organs, from three aspects of new thinking, new path and new technology of inspection of big data. Associate Professor Wang pointed out that traditional regulatory methods were difficult to respond to the needs of current procuratorial organ case supervision in an efficient and high-quality manner. Therefore, the application of new technologies to detect new data and new path transformation not only had its needs but also met the current needs. At the same time, Associate Professor Wang also stressed that the current judicial big data was still in the research stage, and some technologies had bottlenecks. While affirming the change of regulatory thinking and path, we also needed to be wary of the “materialism”.
Associate Professor Wang Lusheng has been engaged in judicial big data research for a long time. He has been invited to teach courses for related topics in several provinces. This is not only an affirmation of Associate Professor Wang’s research, but also an important proof of influence on the judicial big data team of our law school.
