On October 11-12, Lecturer Ye Quan of our law school was invited to visit the School of Law and Politics at the Université de Rennes 1 in France.

On the morning of October 11, Professor Frederic Lambert, Dean of the School of Law and Politics at Rennes First University in France, accompanied by Benoît Josset, the administrative coordinator of the Foreign Affairs of the Institute, met with Lecturer Ye Quan cordially.

Dean Frederic Lambert expressed his warm welcome to Lecturer Ye Quan and expressed his strong willingness to cooperate with Southeast University Law School. At the same time, he also introduced the basic situation of the school, the English curriculum setting subjects, the existing international cooperation projects and the conditions for accepting international students.

Lecturer Ye Quan thanked Dean Frederic Lambert for his warm reception and introduced to the other party the history of the Southeast University Law School, the dominant subjects, bilingual and English courses, international cooperation projects and major achievements in recent years. Subsequently, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on issues such as exchange of exchange students, joint degree courses, receiving visiting scholars, and hiring the other teachers to pursue short-term lectures, and reached consensus.

This visit was based on the visit of President David Alis and Vice President Pierre Van de Weghe of the First University of Rennes in France on September 14 this year. The two sides further discussed the cooperation issue. This visit is not only conducive to promoting substantive cooperation between the two houses, but also has a positive effect on expanding the international influence of Southeast University Law School and strengthening cooperation with foreign research institutions and scholars.
