Lecturer Gao Xiang was invited to visit Tohoku University in Japan

    On October 12-14, Lecturer Gao Xiang was invited to visit the Law School of Tohoku University in Japan and to attend 82nd Congress of the Japan Civil Law Society.

  

    On the morning of October 12th, Professor of Civil Law of the Graduate School of Law of Tohoku Universityand Prof. Kubo Tomomimet with Lecturer Gao Xiang. Lecturer Gao Xiang first expressed his gratitude, and then introduced the history, characteristics, international exchanges and cooperation of Southeast University Law School to the other side, and expressed international exchanges with the Faculty of Law of Tohoku University. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on lectures, short-term lectures, student exchanges, and joint research, and reached consensus.

  

    On October 13 and 14, Lecturer Gao Xiang attended the 82nd session of the Japan Civil Law Society hosted by Tohoku University. Founded in 1948, the Japan Civil Law Society is composed of more than 2,000 scholars and practitioners from the fields of civil law, commercial law, and civil procedure law. It is the largest academic group in Japan in the field of Civil law. The theme of this year's conference is jus cogens and jus dispositivum - centered on property law”.

  

    During the meeting, Gao Xiang also exchanged views with civil law scholars from universities such as the University of Tokyo, Aoyama Gakuin University, Nanshan University, Niigata University, and Fukushima University. This visit will expand the international influence of Southeast University Law School and strengthen foreign cooperation.
