On October 18, 2018, the Chinese Law Society Cross-Strait Relations Law Research Association and Southeast University Law School, Jiangsu Province Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Law Research Association jointly held the “Jiangsu Benefiting Taiwan Measures and Taiwanese Rights and Interests Protection” special investigation seminar in Southeast University.

    Vice President of the Law Society of the Cross-Strait Relations of China Law Society (former president of the Beijing Higher People's Court), Secretary-General Yin Baohu (Director of the China Law Academic Exchange Center), Associate Researcher Zhang Zihe, Deputy Director of the International Department of the Legal Daily, Wang Yiyan, etc. participated in the investigation. Some Taiwanese enterprises and Taiwan compatriots who are entrepreneurial or studying in Nanjing and scholars and experts from Southeast University Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office, Southeast University Law School, Jiangsu Law Society, Nanjing Normal University Law School, Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Social Sciences, Jiangsu Provincial Higher People's Court, Jiangsu Provincial Overseas Chinese Federation, Jiangsu Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Jiangsu International Commercial Legal Service Center, Jiangsu International Business Service Center, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission Jiangsu Arbitration Center, Nanjing Medical University Humanities College, and Jiangsu Hongyuan Law Firm attended the seminar.

    The seminar was hosted by Professor of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Law Research Association of Jiangsu Law Society and Professor Xiao Bing of Southeast University Law School. Professor Meng Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Southeast University Law School, gave a welcome speech and warmly welcomed the guests and introduced the development history of Southeast University Law School.
