On October 24, 2018, Professor Liu Yanhong, Professor Ouyang Benxi and Associate Professor Qian Xiaoping were invited to Hunan University of Commercel for academic exchanges.

    Professor Liu Yanhong and her entourage first visited the Hunan Provincial Integrity Construction Collaborative Innovation Center, which was the lead unit of Hunan University of Commerce. The chief expert of the center, Professor Wang Minggao of Hunan Business School and Professor Liu Xiangxiang of Hunan University of Business School of Law introduced the situation and the effectiveness of corruption governance. Prof. Liu Yanhong and her team also introduced the relevant situation of the Anti-corruption Rule of Law Research Center of Southeast University. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on theoretical and practical experience in anti-corruption governance.

    Subsequently, Prof. Liu Yanhong and her entourage carried out the academic lecture entitled “Legal Challenges in the Internet Age”, which was also the 79th lecture of the Yuelu Lecture Hall of Hunan University of Commercel.

    In the lecture session, Professor Liu Yanhong comprehensively expounded the legal challenges faced by the Internet age around the theme of “Legal Challenges in the Internet Age”. She pointed out that legal professionals cannot only learn the legal language but also learn and master the Internet knowledge in order to keep pace with the times. During the talks, Professor Ouyang Benedict and Associate Professor Qian Xiaoping discussed the relevant content. During the free questioning session, the students actively asked questions, and the three teachers answered questions carefully and patiently, which benefited students a lot.

    At the end of the lecture, Professor Wang Mingga, on behalf of Hunan University of Commercel, expressed his gratitude to the three teachers. Professor Liu Yanhong was appointed as a visiting professor at Hunan University of Commerce, and subsequently issued a letter of appointment.
