On November 3, 2018, the Dialogue on the Green Code of Civil Law was held at the Law School of Renmin University of China. More than 40 representatives from more than ten universities and research institutes including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Zhejiang University and Southeast University attended the conference.

Prof. Yao Hui, Director of the Center for Civil and Commercial Legal Science of Renmin University of China, presided over the opening ceremony. Professor Lv Zhongmei, the head of the Environmental Law Law Research Association of the Chinese Law Society, and Professor Wang Yi, Dean of the Law School of Renmin University of China, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. They hoped that Seminars can play an important role.

Associate Professor Shan Pingji of the Law School  was invited to participate in the conference, and made a keynote speech on the “Radiation effect and limitation of the green principle on the compilation of property rights in the Civil Code”, which triggered a wide discussion of the participants and achieved good results.
