On November 24, 2018, the Jiangsu Provincial Lawyers Association held Environmental and Resource Business Training. The training was based on the theme of “Protection and Correction of Environmental Risks by Lawyers”, and invited lawyers, experts and scholars from Shanghai, Zhejiang, Anhui and Jiangsu to give special lectures. Professor Chen Hongbing of our institute gave a special lecture entitled “Theory and Practice of Environmental Crime”.

First of all, Professor Chen interprets environmental crimes, and then elaborates on the criminal composition and the protection of legal interests of environmental crimes. On this basis, Professor Chen further analyzed the boundaries and competitions between environmental crimes and theft crimes, and won the praise of the participants.

The teaching of Professor Chen Hongbing from the Law School not only made the participants understand the theory and practice of environmental crime, but also reflected the role of the law school in serving the social development.
