On December 9, 2018, the third China Education Law and Education Development Summit was jointly sponsored by China Education Development Strategy Society, Shanghai Education Committee and East China University of Political Science and Law in East China University of Political Science and Law. A number of scholars and experts from Peking University, Renmin University of China, Wuhan University, Southeast University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Central South University, Southwest University, East China University of Political Science and Law, East China Normal University, Beijing Normal University, Capital Normal University, Shaanxi Normal University, Northeast Normal University, Huazhong Normal University, South China Normal University, Sichuan Normal University, Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai University, Department of Policy and Regulation of the Ministry of Education, China Education Rule of Law Strategy Association, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and Shanghai Higher People's Court participated in this summit on education, legislation and law enforcement.

    Professor Meng Hongzhi and Professor Gong Xianghe from Southeast University School of Law were invited to attend the summit.

    Professor Meng Hongzhi and Professor Gong Xianghe introduced the construction of the Southeast University School of Law and the research base of education legislation. Professors also made keynote speeches and other experts conducted extensive exchanges with them. It enhanced mutual understanding and support among the schools, and let the experts understand the construction of the education and legislative base of our school that Professor Meng Hongzhi and Professor Gong Xianghe expanded the influence of our school of law educational legislation research base and educational law discipline.
