On December 21, 2018, The “Symposium on the Rule of Law for Private Enterprises in Jiangsu Province” was successfully held in Nanjing, co-sponsored by the Legislative Research Association of the Jiangsu Law Society, the Civil Procedure Law Research Association of the Jiangsu Law Society, the Civil Law Research Association of the Jiangsu Law Society, the Engineering Law Research Association of the Jiangsu Law Society, the Jiangsu Law Society Real Estate Law Society and Jiangsu Puzehengyi Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. Professor Liu Yanhong, Professor Meng Hongzhi, Associate Professor Huang Zhe, Associate Professor Qian Xiaoping, and Lecturer Wang Weiling were invited to attend.
During the opening ceremony, Professor Meng Hongzhi gave an opening speech as the president of the Legislative Research Association of the Jiangsu Law Society. Professor Meng pointed out that a symposium, jointly convened by the five research associations of Jiangsu Law Society, to discuss the issue of the rule of law for private enterprises in Jiangsu Province was of great significance, under the background of intensive formulation of policies to encourage the development of private enterprises in various localities and departments.
Professor Liu Yanhong, as a guest speaker, made a report on Crime Big Data on Jiangsu Enterprise Management. In the report, Professor Liu made recommendations on risk prevention from perspective of criminal law, and how to control enterprise management personnel based on the statistical analysis of the criminal cases of enterprise management personnel in Jiangsu Province from 2013 to 2016. The report comprehensively demonstrated the crime situation of the enterprise management personnel in Jiangsu Province and caused a heated discussion among the participants.
Associate Professor Huang Zhe, as the Secretary General of the Engineering Law Research Association of the Jiangsu Law Society, hosted he second stage of the symposium. Associate Professor Huang, said that it was the key to realize and implement the rule of law for private enterprises.
Professor Meng Hongzhi, as the host of the closing ceremony, said that the forum should be problematic, controversial, efficient and fruitful, which achieved by this symposium. Although it was only half a day, the issue of guaranteeing the rule of law has carried out viewpoint collisions and exchanges of ideas from various angles and achieved good results.
