On February 25, 2019, Associate Professor Gu Dasong was invited to participate in the Nanjing Urban Management Work Exchange Symposium. He listened to the summary of the urban governance work in the past year by Nanjing City Management Office and the commission work plan on urban governance in 2019. The conference was grand in scale and was highly valued by relevant departments. The leaders of the Nanjing Greening and Landscaping Bureau, the Municipal Urban Management Bureau and other relevant departments, as well as the leaders of various districts in Nanjing, were present to express their opinions on how to carry out future urban governance work.

    Associate Professor Gu Dasong of our law school has been concerned about the urban governance work in Nanjing. At the meeting, he pointed out many highlights of the work plan of the Urban Governance Committee in 2019, and proposed to the relevant departments that the construction of Nanjing Urban Governance Research Institute should be strengthened. The proposal was unanimously recognized by the participating experts and committee members, and was highly valued by the deputy mayor of Nanjing Municipal People's Government Xing Zhengjun.
