On March 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th, 2019, Professor Chen Hongbing of the Law School was invited to participate in the Boomstar Forum. In just four days, he systematically sorted out the complicated criminal law for the staff and lawyers of the practical circles.

The forum was led by Boomstar, a famous law firm in Jiangsu Province. Lawyers, prosecutors, judges and police officers from many places gathered in the Jiangsu Provincial Lawyers Association. Under the leadership of the famous scholar Professor Chen Hongbing, the participants began a systematic study of the Specific Provisions of the Criminal Law.

During the lectures, with his profound academic knowledge, Professor Chen’s lectures were delivered throughout the course. Although the lecture was based on the content of the Specific Provisions of the Criminal Law, but it was flexible and interspersed with the General Provisions of the Criminal Law. He provided new ideas for the lawyers and prosecutors in the practical circles and achieved good social results.
