On March 20, 2019, the Social Science Division of Southeast University issued the Notice on Establishing the Southeast University Law Research Center of Cyber Security Rule , and approved the establishment of the Research Center for Urban Governance and Regional Rule of Law at Southeast University, and Professor Yu Lishen served as the director of the center.

The law school has always paid attention to the construction of the central platform and research base. The construction of the platform and research base is conducive to promoting the training of practical students and promoting the development of academic research. The establishment of the research center has played a good role in promoting the talent training, academic research and discipline construction of the law school, and thus providing important intellectual support for urban governance and regional rule of law.
