On March 27, 2019, the Supreme People's Court held a symposium to carry out the spirit of the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping and promote the training of legal talents. Secretary Mao Huixi and Associate Professor Gu Dasong of the Law School were invited to participate in the symposium.

 On February 8,2018, the Supreme People’s Court issued a notice on “determining the candidates for the third batch of legal training scholars”, and received 10 comrades as the third batch of legal training scholars. Associate Professor Gu Dasong is among them. For the Research on the Legal System of Compensation for Rural Collective Land, and successfully completed the training work.

The establishment of a legal training scholar system by the Supreme People's Court is an important institutional innovation in the training of legal personnel. Law school legal training scholars entered the Supreme People's Court, which not only embodies the theory and practice of law education in law school, but also affirms the work of law school to actively cultivate legal talents in the new era.
