The  2019 Annual Conference of Law and Social Sciences  was held in Nanjing Normal University from May 11 to 12. The theme of this conference is law, city and geography, which aims to strengthen the knowledge exchange between law and geography, urban sociology, political science and other disciplines, and to understand the formulation and implementation of laws from the perspectives of geography, space and region. Professor Yu Lishen and Associate Professor Feng Yuqing were invited to attend.

Professor Yu Lishen spoke in the third unit on the theme of National Law Protection of Regional Development Rights. He said that regional coordinated development faces many legal problems and must ensure full and equal competition in the region.

Associate Professor Feng Yuqing was the commentator for the fifth unit discussion. He pointed out that the study of family trial reform based on the theoretical framework of gender differences and cultural prejudice is a breakthrough, which can be further deepened by combining urban and rural differences, cultural faults, urbanization processes and marketization processes.
