On May 30, 2019, the first meeting of the Jiangsu Community Correction and Damage Repair Association was held in Nanjing. Professor Li Chuan and Associate Professor Liang Yunbao of the Law School were invited to participate in the meeting. At this meeting, President Liu Yanhong of our school was invited to be the special expert of the association. Professor Li Chuan was elected as the vice chairman of the association. Associate Professor Liang Yunbao and Associate Professor Feng Yuqing were elected as directors and professional committee members. The meeting reviewed and adopted a series of documents and elected the first council of the association.

The Jiangsu Community Correction and Damage Repair Association is the first provincial community correction association in China. The name of the association reflects the innovative research results of the Community Correction Damage Restoration Project promoted by the School of Law and the Department of Justice. The association will work hard to promote the work and make positive contributions to the construction of Jiangsu.

In recent years, the Law School of Southeast University and the Judicial Department promoted the theoretical and practical research projects of community correction damage repair projects, and achieved national leading results. The teachers of the Law School became the special experts, vice presidents, directors and professional committee members of the association. They both affirmed t the Law School 's work in community correction theory and practice research, and also expected the Law School to make greater contributions to community correction work.
