On June 28th, Professor Liu Yanhong, Dean of the School of Law, was invited to the Donghai County People's Court to give a special lecture for the police. Professor Liu Yanhong gave a wonderful lecture on the topic Practices and Methods of Crime Application. Liu Gang, Party Secretary and President of Donghai County People's Court, presided over the lecture.

Professor Liu Yanhong gave an in-depth and detailed explanation on the criminal law spirit behind the criminal law norms, the asymmetry between the criminal law norms and the facts of the case, the criminal law and the basic methods of criminal law application. In addition, it also proposed the application of criminal in China and Western is different.

Through the lectures, the participants have a deeper understanding of the criminal law system and the application of the crimes, which has improved the concept and method of the referee, and has a strong inspiration and guidance for the practice of political law.

The lecture was a complete success. Dean Liu Gang requested that the court trial team should strengthen study, continuously improve theoretical quality and business ability, further improve the quality of trials, constantly update the judicial concept, implement judicial reform requirements, and promote the criminal trial work to a new level.
