From September 21st to 22nd, 2019, the 2nd International Forum on Computational Law, co-sponsored by Tsinghua University Law School and Tsinghua University Institute of Intelligent Rule of Law, was successfully held at Tsinghua University. More than 200 people from China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Singapore, Indonesia, Estonia and other countries, including legal scholars, representatives of the judiciary, senior technical experts and Internet companies, attended the conference. Professor Liu Yanhong from our hospital was invited to participate in the meeting.
The forum consists of the opening ceremony, the main forum, the sub-forum, and the closing ceremony. The theme is “Digital Economic Governance and Legal Science and Technology Innovation”. The main forum theme is “Theory of Development and Practice of Computational Law”. The six themes of the sub-forum are “Data Utilization and Governance in the Digital Economy”, “Internet Platform Governance in the Digital Economy”, “Management and Legal Rules of Artificial Intelligence”. Emerging Technology and Legal Supervision “Legal Big Data Application and Quantitative Analysis” “Legal Science and Technology Innovation and Future Prospects”. Professor Liu Yanhong was invited as the talker in the first half of the main forum, and the speaker had a heated academic exchange discussion around the theme of the main forum.
This forum explores the theoretical basis and practical frontiers of computational law, deepens the understanding of the focus issues of justice, research, and industry in the field of computational law, and leads the future development direction of interdisciplinary research. The attendees of this conference gathered together, and Professor Liu Yanhong from our institute was invited to participate in the conference, which deepened the academic exchanges between our institute and famous experts and scholars at home and abroad on the frontier topic of computational law!
