At noon on October 14, 2019, the seventh Presidency Luncheon of Southeast University Law School was successfully held in the conference room on the fourth floor of the School of Law of the Southeast University Jiulonghu Campus. The 10 doctoral students,postgraduates and undergraduate students at the school attended the luncheon. Dean Liu Yanhong, Party Secretary Mao Huixi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President Gao Ge, and Vice President Wang Lusheng attended the event and had in-depth exchanges with the students.

First of all, threepostgraduates students attending the luncheon questioned the teachers about the problem of essay writing. Dean Liu Yanhong reminded the students that the problem stems from practice, that they should think from the real case, and also pay attention to the academic research of such problems, so that the topic of the thesis can be clearly defined. Vice-president Gao Ge suggested that students should pay attention to mastering the literature retrieval skills, and should closely follow the theme when referring to and citing materials. Vice President Wang Lusheng also suggested to refer to and quote the authoritative journals and authoritative authors' papers, and do a good job in reviewing the relevant papers to lay a solid foundation for writing.

Subsequently, six undergraduate students began a dialogue with teachers on artificial intelligence law, law learning methods, and personal future planning. In response to the study of artificial intelligence law proposed by undergraduate students, Vice President Wang Lusheng suggested that students should focus on understanding relevant knowledge in the undergraduate stage and consider the legal issues of artificial intelligence from a practical perspective. As far as the law learning method is concerned, several teachers have emphasized the mastery of the law. The teachers combined their own learning experiences with the characteristics of various departmental laws to elaborate on the methods of law majors for students. Gao Vice-President also reminded the students not to neglect the practice because of too much attention to learning, and to achieve individual comprehensive development in law learning. On the issue of personal future planning, President Liu encouraged the students to be determined to be high-minded. As a student, they must learn knowledge and sense and actively prepare for further study.

In the face of the overseas program proposed by doctoral students, Vice President Wang combined with his own experience in studying abroad, from the cultivation of language ability, the study of professional knowledge and the familiarity of living environment, providing further study for doctoral students to go abroad.

At the end of the luncheon, Secretary Mao Huixi encouraged the students to strive to become the leading talents in law. At each stage, they should clearly define their own requirements and spend their youth in struggle. The luncheon will answer questions for students in a way that is different from the daily classroom communication between teachers and students. It will not only help students improve their legal literacy, promote their own development, but also deepen the communication and understanding between teachers and students. Participants in the conference expressed their willingness to remember the teachings of the teachers. In the future study, they will striveand become a legal person of Dongda who is constantly seeking.
