On October 23, the subject of the Law School of Southeast University was successfully approved by the Institute of Theoretical Studies of the Supreme People's Procuratorate. The subject was chaired by Professor Liu Yanhong, the dean of the School of Law. The teacher Yang Zhiqiong of the law school gave a report and answered the questions. In order to enhance the practical orientation of the subject, the People’s Procuratorate of Taizhou Medicine High-tech Zone, Shen Jiu Ming, was also invited to participate in the project.
This topic is based on several real cases of web crawlers. It has a multi-angled doctrinal interpretation of network data attributes. Based on comprehensive considerations to encourage innovation and information sharing, and to protect citizens' privacy, trade secrets and data security, the different web crawler blame system was raised. It clarifies the criteria for conviction of online reptiles and the proper handling of gray areas, and provides useful reference for judicial practitioners to handle such cases.
In 2019, a total of 14 Internet criminal law subjects were approved by the Institute of Supreme Inspection Theory. The mid-term review has both academic authority and practical experts as judges. The suggestions of experts and scholars have provided us with inspiration for further improvement of the subject. The research team will speed up the research progress and complete the project on time and with high quality.
