At noon on October 30, 2019, the fifth session of the professor's luncheon of Southeast University Law School was successfully held in the conference room on the fourth floor of the School of Law of the Southeast University Jiulonghu Campus. Liu Lianjun, Chen Yuling, Gu Dasong, and Chen Daoying from Southeast University Law School participated in the event and had a cordial and in-depth exchange with the students. The Professor Luncheonis a teacher-student interactive communication event of the law school. It has been successfully held many times before, providing a good platform for direct communication between teachers and students.

First of all, the teacher and the classmates discussed how to improve the ability of undergraduate information retrieval and grooming. Teacher Chen Yuling pointed out that information retrieval is not only a very important ability for undergraduates, but also for master students and doctoral students. Teacher Chen Yuling suggested that you can go to some special lectures on information retrieval technology organized by the school to master some necessary technologies. At the same time, when reading the thesis, pay attention to the abstract, literature review and other parts. In addition, Teacher Chen Daoying believes that the current network resources are very rich, and it is easy for students to search a large amount of information, but usually many materials are not closely related to the topic we are exploring. Students should have the awareness of refined screening from various sources when looking for relevant information.

Second, the teacher and classmates discussed the problems of undergraduate academic planning. Teacher Liu Lianjun believes that the current extracurricular activities of students are too rich, leading to their daily exhaustion, and should learn to do subtraction for their study life. Teacher Chen Daoying believes that students should know what they want so that they can better plan their own learning life. For example, if you want to do academics, you should spend more time reading and research, and if you want to do practical things, you can take part in activities and exercise.

In addition, the students asked the teacher about the cultivation of writing ability. In this regard, Mr. Liu Lianjun believes that it is possible to start from the short-term comments on hot legal issues, and to write more and maintain the frequency. At the same time, Mr. Liu Lianjun also suggested that undergraduates should invest more time in reading. In addition to legal monographs, they should also read more literary classics to improve their writing skills. Teacher Gu Dasong also believes that reading is a very important way to enrich university life. Gu also suggested that undergraduates should focus on developing their ability to write and comment, and enhance their competitiveness for future employment.

Finally, the students also had in-depth exchanges with the teachers on books and other aspects. The three teachers carefully shared their experiences and feelings, and made many suggestions and expectations for the students on how to read the classics. Teacher Chen Daoying believes that it is a very normal phenomenon to read the classics for the first time. The most important thing is to insist on reading. Repeated thinking can really achieve a great improvement. Teacher Liu Lianjun believes that the classic reading can broaden the depth and perspective of thinking about some issues. The students had gained a lot.

The humorous and intimate enthusiasm of the four teachers deeply infects the students, and the professor's luncheon ends in a laughter. During the short lunch time, the students' doubts were answered and many valuable learning experiences and learning methods were gained. I hope that more and more students can participate in the luncheon of the Dean and the luncheon, and I wish the students more and more attention and joy in the event. .
