Associate Professor Gu Dasong pointed out at the meeting that the operating principle of the platform is that the platform project technology uses the Bluetooth MAC address of the car lock as the unique identifier, and deploys a fixed-point saturation monitor in the urban hotspot area to detect the Bluetooth information of shared bicycles passing and parking. Through the short-range IoT sensing technology, without the need to connect with the data of car companies, it can realize the functions of total amount control, demand analysis, assessment and evaluation, and intelligent scheduling of shared bicycles, forming an objective and effective, multi-functional and visual supervision of shared bicycles. The platform was jointly developed by the China Urban Public Transportation Association, the Internet of Things Research and Development Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Urban Parking Information Cloud Platform Laboratory of Southeast University. The four principles of “conversion, flat disposal, and intelligent supervision” have carried out pilot work on the standardized management of shared bicycles in Chenghua District.
