On July 3, 2019, in order to implement the requirements of the Party group of the Supreme People's Procuratorate and attorney general Zhang Jun on strengthening and improving the research of procuratorial theory in the new era, promote the prosperity and development of the research of procuratorial theory in the new era, Journal of the state prosecutor's College, jointly with China law, law research, Chinese and foreign law, political law forum, comparative law research, global law review, Qing Dynasty China law, law journal, China Criminal Law Journal, administrative law research, law business research, law review, legal system and social development, contemporary law, Journal of East China University of political science and law, people's Procuratorate, Journal of Southwest University of political science and law, law of Normal University, research on Modernization of rule of law, China prosecutor (ranking in no particular order), etc, The theme of basic theory and practice operation of four major procuratorial organs was launched.

On May 26, 2020, 54 winning papers were selected according to the academic and practical guidance value of the papers after recommendation of cooperative journals and evaluation by experts. Among them, there are 3 first prizes, 12 second prizes, 15 third prizes and 24 excellent prizes. There are two achievements in the research base of civil prosecution theory of Southeast University: Li Yong's construction of China's criminal compliance under the guidance of Prosecution -- starting from the leniency system of confession and punishment won the first prize, and Feng Wenjie's dual construction of artificial intelligence assisted sentencing justice orientation won the third prize.

This award is not only the recognition of the personal research results of Li Yong and Feng Wenjie doctoral students, but also the full affirmation of the research work of civil prosecution in our hospital. It also reflects the higher level of the research of procuratorial theory in our research base of civil procuratorial theory, and is committed to promoting the research and innovation of procuratorial theory, based on the positive interaction between theory and practice Under the new situation of work, combined with the major needs of civil procuratorial reform, research work is carried out in an interdisciplinary, multi angle and all-round way, highlighting the interdisciplinary research advantage of law + of our college, and providing strong theoretical support, intellectual support and talent guarantee for our procuratorial work.

The Law School of Southeast University has always attached great importance to the construction of research bases and disciplinary platforms to promote the development of China under the rule of law and serve the society. The research base of civil procuratorial theory of Southeast University will further provide important intellectual support for civil procuratorial work, train more high-end legal talents for the research and application of civil procuratorial theory, so as to promote the development of socialist procuratorial system and practice with Chinese characteristics.
