At 14:30-17:00 p.m. on June 9, 2020, the review meeting of academic monograph and textbook publishing support of Southeast University Law School was successfully held on Tencent conference platform. In response to the requirements of the social science department of Southeast University, this meeting reviewed and evaluated the monographs and teaching materials to be published by our college. At the meeting, Professor Wang xizn of Peking University Law School, Professor Yu Lishen of Southeast University Law School and Professor Liu Lianjun of Southeast University law school were invited as evaluation experts. The meeting was presided over by associate professor Xiong Zhanglin, Dean Assistant of Southeast University Law School.
At the beginning of the meeting, associate professor Xiong Zhanglin briefly introduced the theme and purpose of the meeting, delivered a welcome speech, thanked you for your participation in the meeting in your busy schedule, and made a brief introduction to the three experts and seven authors. A total of 7 works participated in the review. Among them, there are 4 works of teachers and 3 works of doctor of law.
Then, several authors went straight to the theme, and started with the academic value and innovation of the bibliography they applied for, elaborated the background and research methods of their topic selection, and summarized the main contents of the work and the problems to be solved with the title, outline, demonstration and conclusion. After each author's report, the three experts commented immediately. The three experts made professional and concise comments on the bibliography declared by the participating authors from the aspects of appropriateness of topics, self consistency of writing logic and connection of contents, and put forward corresponding modification suggestions for the problems pointed out by themselves. The whole meeting was in a compact rhythm, active atmosphere, interwoven with theoretical knowledge of various departments, and constantly collided with ideological sparks.
At the end of the meeting, associate professor Xiong Zhanglin once again expressed his gratitude to the participants and review experts, and said that he benefited a lot from this meeting.
