In order to better study and publicize the civil code and promote the implementation of the civil code, on the afternoon of June 17, 2020, Shan Pingji, vice president of the school of law of Southeast University and director of the civil prosecution research base of Southeast University, was invited to give a lecture on the special knowledge of civil code for the legal prosecution system of Yizheng City. The theme of this lecture is system innovation of the civil code. Liu Ning, the procurator general of Yizheng people's Procuratorate, Hou Liang, the court of justice, and more than 100 people from Yizheng city's procuratorial system and court system participated in this civil code learning activity. Liu Ning, chief procurator of Yizheng people's Procuratorate, presided over the lecture.

In the course of the lecture, vice president Dan Pingji, from the perspective of the rule of law of social governance, explained the compilation process, significance, basic style, basic content of the civil code and the key issues that should be paid attention to in the future implementation, which effectively strengthened the participants' understanding of the legislative spirit and core content of the civil code and promoted the study and publicity of the civil code And implementation.            

The whole lecture lasted more than three hours. Shan Pingji, vice president of the people's Republic of China, combined with the interpretation of the important articles of the civil code based on the actual cases, made the participants feel the great responsibility of the judicial organs in the publicity, implementation and maintenance of the authority of the civil code, and got a good evaluation.            

As an encyclopedia of social life in the new era, Civil Code plays an important role in the legal system of socialism with Chinese characteristics. According to the requirements of the party and the state, before the formal implementation of the civil code, an important task is to strengthen the study and publicity of the civil code, explain the basic principles, basic requirements and a series of new provisions, new concepts and new spirit of the civil code. This activity is conducive to expanding the influence of related disciplines of our college, reflecting the importance of Southeast University Law School and civil prosecution research base for the study and publicity of civil code.
