At 10 a.m. on May 12, 2020, the cooperation seminar between the School of Law of Southeast University and the People's Procuratorate of Yizheng City was held in the conference room on the fourth floor of the Law School. Attending the meeting were four people including Deputy Procurator General Zhang Wenzhong of the Yizheng People's Procuratorate and Secretary Mao Huixi, Vice President Shan Pingji, Professor Yin Ji, Professor Li Chuan, Associate Professor Gao Ge, Associate Professor Xiong Zhanglin and Associate Professor Liu Qichuan.

The meeting was chaired by Associate Professor Gao Ge, Director of the Legal Practice Education Center.

First of all, Secretary Mao Huixi first welcomed the deputy inspector general Zhang Wenzhong and his delegation on behalf of the college, and briefly introduced the development of our college in recent years.

Then, Deputy Prosecutor Zhang Wenzhong expressed his desire to provide intellectual support from his alma mater: first, to improve the level of criminal prosecution. In response to the newly promulgated Criminal Procedure Rules, the Law School hopes to conduct special lectures and organize the Criminal Procedure Rules test to help police officers strengthen their theoretical learning and rule application capabilities. Second, improve the level of administrative public interest litigation business. In view of the problem of insufficient knowledge reserves in the administrative field of police officers, I hope that the college will explain the laws and regulations in the two fields of ecological environmental protection and land planning in light of the specific responsibilities undertaken by the relevant administrative law enforcement departments, and help the police officers to better find clues in the case. Improve the quality of handling cases.

Afterwards, Professor Yin Ji proposed cooperation proposals from the perspective of the law school’s strong research strength and various research platforms. Professor Li Chuan believes that there is room for cooperation and expansion in community corrections and juvenile delinquency. On the basis of introducing the situation of the civil prosecution base of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of our hospital, the chief expressed his views on the subject cooperation and invited lectures from both sides. Director Shen Pengfei and Director Hu Hao of the People's Procuratorate of Yizheng hoped that experts and scholars of the Law School would give theoretical guidance and select interns to communicate with our school.

On January 9, 2017, our institute and Yizheng People's Procuratorate signed a cooperation agreement to build a legal education practice base. The signing and unveiling ceremony officially marked that the cooperation between our hospital and the Yizheng People's Procuratorate has entered a substantial stage. This cooperation meeting is also to further advance the implementation and implementation of the agreement, so as to form a benign and interactive cooperation relationship with the school.

The two sides have reached consensus on the content and form of further cooperation and formed a preliminary framework opinion. The successful holding of this cooperation meeting is the embodiment of our school's good social reputation and social influence in recent years, and will effectively promote the law school's comprehensive and multi-dimensional development.
