On June 22, 2020, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education issued the notice of the Provincial Department of education on publishing the final acceptance results and the list of phase II projects of Jiangsu University Brand Specialty Construction Project Phase I project, and announced the final acceptance results and phase II project list of Jiangsu university brand specialty construction project, among which law major of Southeast University was selected as the second project of Jiangsu university brand specialty construction project Phase I project.

The second phase of Jiangsu university brand specialty construction project combines with the double ten thousand plan of the Ministry of education, and adopts the mode of provincial brand specialty docking with national first-class undergraduate specialty, and provincial characteristic specialty connecting with provincial first-class undergraduate specialty. On December 24, 2019, the general office of the Ministry of Education issued the notice on publishing the list of national and provincial first-class undergraduate specialty construction points in 2019. The law major of our college was successfully selected into the first batch of national first-class undergraduate specialty construction points, which is an important part of the double ten thousand plan implemented by the Ministry of education. The selection of the law major in our college is a perfect connection between the provincial brand specialty and the national first-class undergraduate specialty construction point of our college, and is an important measure to implement the double ten thousand plan of the first-class specialty of the Ministry of education and the construction of new engineering, new medicine, new agriculture, and new liberal arts of the Ministry of education.            

In recent years, our college has always adhered to the concept of cross cutting, team work and practical talents training, and has formed the discipline advantages and school running characteristics matching the school's double first-class construction. This selection is a further affirmation of the effectiveness of the construction and personnel training of the southeast law major, and is the result of the joint efforts of all teachers and students. It will encourage all teachers and students to continue to struggle for the brand building of southeast law major.           

Next, our college will continue to take the double ten thousand plan of first-class undergraduate construction, take the brand specialty construction of Jiangsu colleges and universities as the basic task, and promote the construction of brand specialty with high quality, high level and efficiency.
