On June 17, 2020, Professor Li Chuan, Law School of Southeast University, at the invitation of the Judicial Bureau of Jiangdu District, Yangzhou City, gave a special lecture on the interpretation of the community correction law for the political and legal system of the whole district. The purpose of the lecture is to help the functional departments and their staff to accurately grasp the legislative spirit, enhance their ability to perform their duties according to law, and thoroughly implement the community correction law. More than 80 community correction workers and heads of relevant departments of Public Security Bureau, court and procuratorate attended the lecture.            

Professor Li Chuan closely adheres to the core meaning and spiritual essence of the community correction law, focusing on the legislative background, highlights, concerns and future development of the community correction law.            

Through Professor Li Chuan's simple explanation, all participants expressed that they had a more profound understanding and comprehensive grasp of the community correction law. In the face of the community correction work under the new situation, all community correction workers will actively change their concepts, strive to adapt to the new law enforcement concept, and strictly perform their legal duties.
