On July 2, 2020, the opening report meeting of the 2018 doctoral dissertation of Southeast University Law School was held successfully in the conference room on the fourth floor of the law school. The students who took part in the project opening included Xu Jinbo, Wang Jiayun, Liu Zhenhua and Gao Shenjie, doctoral students under the guidance of Professor Wang Jinyuan. Professor Wang Jinyuan, Professor Xiao Bing, Professor Gong Xianghe, Professor Meng Hongzhi, Associate Professor Chen Daoying, associate professor Shan Pingji, and Professor Ji Yang participated in the deliberation of the proposal. More than ten master's and doctoral students from the law school attended the audit.            

The opening report meeting was held in the form of on-the-spot report, which was presided over by Associate Professor Chen Daoying, director of the constitutional department. The conference is a part of the whole process quality management process of law school graduate dissertations. In the opening report meeting, Associate Professor Chen Daoying first explained the purpose and significance of the meeting, pointed out that the purpose of the meeting was to review and discuss the feasibility and scientificity of the topic selection and creative ideas of relevant doctoral dissertations, and put forward suggestions for revision.            

In the report meeting, the doctoral students reported the basis and value of their thesis topics, research methods and contents, and expected results of their papers, and put forward the difficulties and problems expected in the process of writing papers to teachers. The teachers in the opening group made detailed comments on the research value and feasibility of the thesis topic and the rationality of the topic outline, pointed out the relevant questions existing in the topic selection and outline of some papers, and put forward specific suggestions to solve the related problems.            

This paper opening report meeting has achieved the expected results, all students who participated in the doctoral thesis proposal got the guidance given by the attending teachers, benefited a lot, and played a good role in promoting the later paper writing.
