On October 29, 2020, the appointment ceremony of legal advisers and legal experts of the second Jiangsu provincial Party committee was held in Nanjing. After extensive recommendation, in-depth investigation and study of the Standing Committee meeting of the provincial Party committee, a total of 5 legal advisers and 20 members of the legal expert database of the provincial Party committee were appointed. Professor Liu Yanhong of our college was selected as the legal expert database of the provincial Party committee.

In September 2017, the first legal adviser and legal expert database of Jiangsu provincial Party committee was established for three years. Professor Liu Yanhong of our college was appointed as a member of the first Jiangsu provincial Party committee legal expert database. Since its establishment, he has played an outsider role in providing legal advice for major decisions of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and participating in the drafting of important documents of the CPC Provincial Committee. The establishment of the legal advisers and legal experts database of the second Jiangsu provincial Party committee is an important link to further implement the legal adviser system, promote the scientific decision-making of the provincial Party committee and the construction of the rule of law in Jiangsu Province.

Professor Liu Yanhong, a member of the first Jiangsu provincial Party committee legal expert database, has given full play to his professional advantages and enhanced the scientificity and standardization of the provincial Party committee's decision-making. The re selection of the legal expert database of the second Jiangsu provincial Party committee is a favorable evidence that our court plays a role of legal adviser for the decision-making of Jiangsu provincial Party committee. I believe that it will continue to play a good role as a legal adviser, and will further encourage southeast law to hold the gate of the rule of law for the provincial Party committee to govern, make decisions and handle affairs according to law, and make greater contributions to the construction of rule of law in Jiangsu Province.
