On the evening of November 7, 2020, Professor Zhang Weiping, President of China Society of civil procedural law and Law School of Tsinghua University, was invited to give a formal lecture in Bingwen lecture hall as the principal professor of the legal theory course of Bingwen liberal arts experimental class in our university. Combining with the new background of the era of civil code, Professor Zhang Weiping has brought a feast of knowledge to Bingwen students with the theme of coordination and connection between the implementation of civil procedure law and civil code. The course was hosted by Liu Yanhong, Dean of Law School of Southeast University.

In this lecture, Professor Zhang Weiping is not lack of easy to understand, wide perspective and careful observation. From the basic principles of civil law to the intersection of different disciplines, from the legal description of literary and artistic works to the phenomenon of social development, Professor Zhang Weiping has narrowed the distance between us and the most cutting-edge issues of civil procedure law with substantial practical examples and rigorous legal perspective. While absorbing professional knowledge, Professor Zhang Weiping's humorous expression makes students feel the strong charm of civil procedure law. The teacher's grand narration also makes students feel the vitality of law implementation and the relationship between legal development and social prosperity.
