From November 12 to 13, 2020, the 16th national senior prosecutors' forum, jointly sponsored by the state prosecutor's college, the office of the research guidance group of the Supreme People's Procuratorate on punishing cyber crime and maintaining network security, and co sponsored by the Law School of Renmin University of China and undertaken by Jiangsu Branch of the state prosecutor's college, was held in Jiangsu Branch of the state prosecutor's college. Professor Liu Yanhong of our college was invited to attend.

The theme of this forum is to do a good job in criminal prosecutions - the theory and practice of cybercrime governance, aiming to further serve the comprehensive, coordinated and full development of the four prosecutions. The forum includes keynote speech: Frontier Issues of cybercrime governance, basic theory and practice of punishing cyber crime, substantive identification rules of cyber crime and procedural mechanism guarantee of punishing cyber crime There are four units.

Professor Liu Yanhong attended the unit of keynote speech: Frontier Issues of cybercrime governance and delivered a keynote speech entitled intergenerational characteristics and governance measures of cyber crime. Professor Liu Yanhong pointed out that the forms of criminal acts in the network era are different from those of traditional social crimes, and the different intergenerational characteristics present many new challenges to the application of criminal law. Therefore, criminal law has to face a lot of challenges In order to solve the problem of identification and punishment of network crime, the theory needs to change the thinking when dealing with network crime.

The network crime iterative upgrading, the effective response needs the multi-party joint effort. Professor Liu Yanhong's participation is the embodiment of our college's ability to play a role as a think tank in Colleges and universities, and has contributed to the professional advantages of experts and scholars in the response and governance of cyber crime. I believe that southeast law will further strengthen the criminal prosecution work and promote the scientific development of criminal prosecution, so as to enhance the modernization ability of China's rule of law.
