On November 16, 2020, the Ninth Dean's lunch of Law School of Southeast University was successfully held in the conference room on the fourth floor of Law School of Southeast University's Jiulonghu campus. Law School President Liu Yanhong, vice president Shan Pingji, vice president Wang Lusheng, deputy secretary of the Party committee and vice president Liu Qichuan attended the president's Luncheon. 15 representatives of undergraduate and postgraduate students from all grades of law school actively participated in the luncheon.

During the lunch meeting, student representatives asked questions about academic and employment problems, or conveyed representative and constructive opinions and suggestions for the class. All leading professors responded patiently one by one, and laughter and applause came one after another, and all the students came home full of joy.

On the topic of academic paper writing that we are generally concerned about, President Liu believes that we should make full use of the wide caliber training mode of our college, such as humanities and Social Sciences, big data, etc., which are cross, practical and team-based, and read more precipitation. Among them, it is a good way to find problems through case study. In terms of the way of further study in the future, how to choose between domestic research and study abroad? Dean Liu Yanhong pointed out that as a law student of Southeast University, he should not only stop at the Bank of Jiulong lake, but also take Jiulong Lake as the starting point, so as to have more opportunities to go out to the outside world and cultivate a greater vision and pattern. In terms of learning methods, vice president Shan Pingji responded that different disciplines have their own discipline characteristics and should be treated differently in the learning process. Taking civil law as an example, we should pay attention to the thinking of civil law system, lay a solid foundation, and constantly enrich the content of the framework on this basis. On how to obtain high-quality internship resources proposed by the students, vice president Wang Lusheng proposed that students can choose multiple internship methods, such as our big data base, well-known technology companies, etc.; at the same time, the college will also communicate with the existing practice bases to meet the needs of students as much as possible, and enrich the internship experience. Liu Qichuan, deputy secretary of the State Council of the people's Republic of China (NPC), replied that the content of the papers, or the length of the papers, were the embodiment of their respective abilities. Moreover, our teachers have a set of systematic scoring standards, which will not only depend on the length.

At the end of the meeting, President Liu told the students to calmly look at the competition, have a definite target, and publicize their talents, hoping to see the students on a higher platform in the future.
