On November 16, 2020, the Management Committee of CAI Dingjian Constitutional Education Fund announced the list of winners of CAI Dingjian constitutional Excellent Thesis Award in 2020. Wei wensong, a doctoral student of our college, won the nomination award of excellent paper award of caidingjian constitutional law in 2020 with his paper analysis of normative value and Application of emergency clause in constitutional text, which has passed the publicity period.

Cai Dingjian constitutional education fund is an independent sub fund set up in May 2011 under the education foundation of China University of political science and law, which is donated by Professor Cai Dingjian's family and friends and friends who believe that constitutional governance is the institutional guarantee of national development, people's well-being and social harmony. At present, the foundation has set up the Cai Dingjian outstanding Thesis Award on constitutional law, which is aimed at encouraging young scholars under 40 to study the Constitution and study constitutional issues, so as to promote the development of constitutional democracy and the rule of law in China.

Our college has been focusing on the cultivation and academic development of postgraduates, and the postgraduates and doctoral students have won various academic awards in China. The award of Wei wensong, a doctoral student, will inspire our graduate students to continue to pursue their academic path. We also believe that our doctoral students will continue to grow under the guidance of excellent tutors, and become a vigorous new force in our college, and call for the signboard of southeast law.
