On September 29, 2020, the National Office of Philosophy and Social Science announced the list of 2020 National Social Science Foundation (NSF) Late Grant and Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Publication Projects, and The Legal Benefit Reinterpretation of Data Crimes in China and its System Research, led by Ms. Yang Zhiqiong of our school, was awarded the NSF Late Grant General Project.

This project aims to encourage workers in the humanities and social sciences to devote themselves to scholarship, solid research and more outstanding achievements, so as to give full play to the exemplary role of NSFC in promoting the prosperity of philosophical and social sciences in China. The establishment of this social science project is a strong evidence of the scientific research strength of our young faculty, which is conducive to the further stimulation of the scientific research enthusiasm of our excellent faculty, the creation of a favorable academic environment, and the enhancement of the overall scientific research core competitiveness of the school, thus adding bricks and tiles to promote the innovative development of legal research.
