On the morning of December 3, 2020, Jiangsu Provincial Procuratorate held a symposium on Prospect of Procuratorial Big Data Application, and members of the Southeast University People's Court Judicial Big Data Research Base team were invited to attend the symposium. Liu Yanhong, director of the base, Wang Lusheng, deputy director of the Social Science Department, Yin Ji, Feng Yuqing, Xu Minchuan, Wu Tianxing, Miao Zeyi, Chang Tengyuan and Gao Gao were invited to attend the conference. The meeting was hosted by Comrade Zhao Zhigang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group of Jiangsu Provincial People's Procuratorate.

At the symposium, prosecutors Han Li and Liang Ping from the provincial procuratorate and Liu Yan from Nanjing procuratorate introduced the design and application of the National Unified Business Application System for Procuratorial Organs, Big Data Intelligent Auxiliary Application Platform for Case Management of Procuratorial Organs in Jiangsu Province and Application Auxiliary Software for Major Evaluation Indicators of Case Quality of Procuratorial Organs respectively.

Hu Yunhui, director of the case management department of the provincial procuratorate, introduced the work of the provincial procuratorate's business data analysis and research, and pointed out that the analysis and research of procuratorial business data should be based on a detailed understanding of the business, and should strengthen the links with other departments, focusing on the links with the key deployment of the Party and government, laws and regulations, judicial interpretation, economic and social development.

Deputy Director Wang Lusheng of Southeast University introduced the basic situation of Southeast University's judicial big data research team from two aspects: composition of staff and disciplinary strength, and showed the research results achieved by the team in terms of building research platform, carrying out scientific research projects, serving party and government decisions, developing intelligent applications, training innovative talents and carrying out brand activities.

Associate Professor Feng Yuqing from Southeast University introduced the application of the team's research results in the prosecution business, taking the intelligent identification platform for false lawsuits as an example.

Among them, Deputy Secretary Zhao Zhigang expressed his affirmation of the achievements made by the judicial big data research team of Southeast University and hoped that the cooperation agreement between the Procuratorate and Southeast University could be implemented to promote the deepening cooperation in the fields of business data research and evaluation, subject application, personnel training and product development.

After that, Prof. Liu Yanhong expressed his expectations and wishes for the cooperation between the two sides, and introduced the work deployment of the team in four aspects: smart court, smart justice, smart prosecution and talent training, hoping that through the cooperation between the two sides, the development of smart prosecution business will be further promoted with Jiangsu Province as the platform.

The successful holding of this symposium is a reflection of the good social reputation and social influence of Southeast University Judicial Big Data Research Base in recent years, and is a recognition of the research results achieved by the team members, which will further promote the all-round and multi-dimensional development of the law school. In the future, our judicial big data research base and Jiangsu Provincial People's Procuratorate will strengthen cooperation in personnel training, academic exchanges, intelligent procuratorial business development, etc., and write a new chapter of prosecution and school building.
