Recently, the first China Rule of Law Microfilm Exhibition came with good news that the Rule of Law Literacy of Teachers and Students in the Battle against the Epidemic planned and filmed by Southeast University College of Law won the Outstanding Work Award in the Special Section of Epidemic Prevention and Control.
The first China Rule of Law Microfilm Exhibition is sponsored by the Research Institute of Rule of Law Culture of the Chinese Law Society, which is a unique way and charm to carry out innovative and vigorous activities to promote the Constitution and laws and regulations.
A total of 1,335 works were sent to the organizing committee from different political and legal systems, colleges and universities, film associations and enterprises, etc. After the preliminary evaluation, re-evaluation and final evaluation, a total of 85 works won various awards. Among them, The Rule of Law Literacy of Teachers and Students Fighting the Epidemic, which was planned and directed by Associate Professor Liu Qichuan of the Law School, was awarded as the outstanding work in the special section of epidemic prevention and control.
The first China Rule of Law Microfilm Exhibition is sponsored by the Rule of Law Culture Research Association of the Chinese Law Society, with the purpose of promoting the spirit of the rule of law and spreading the culture of the rule of law, integrating rule of law culture, legal jurisprudence, microfilm art, Internet and terminal applications and related cutting-edge technology, and actively exploring the use of rule of law microfilm to record, express and reproduce the culture of the rule of law in various regions and countries. The purpose is to further promote the spirit of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and to enhance the confidence, self-awareness and self-discipline of the rule of law culture in the fields of law learning, law usage and justice in all sectors of society.
In the video, Associate Professor Liu Qichuan answered ten key questions from the four levels of knowing the law, understanding the law, abiding by the law and using the law, and concisely elaborated how to have and continuously improve the rule of law literacy under the normalization of epidemic prevention and control. He further pointed out that knowing and understanding the law are the basic prerequisites for teachers and students to fight against the epidemic, and abiding by the law and using the law are the fundamental guarantees for teachers and students to win the battle against the epidemic.
